Eaton Corp. Beats Q4 Earnings Estimates, Misses on Revenue
Dublin, Ireland - Eaton Corp. PLC (ETN) reported fourth-quarter net income of $971 million, or $2.45 per share. Excluding amortization and restructuring costs, earnings per share came in at $2.83, exceeding Wall Street expectations of $2.81.
Revenue for the period reached $6.24 billion, falling short of analyst estimates of $6.35 billion.
For the full year, Eaton reported a profit of $3.79 billion ($9.50 per share) on revenue of $24.88 billion.
Looking forward to the current quarter ending in March, Eaton anticipates per-share earnings of $2.65 to $2.75. Full-year earnings are projected to range between $11.80 and $12.20 per share.
