EA Lowers FY25 Booking Forecast Amid Sports Title Weakness

Electronic Arts (EA) has revised its fiscal year 2025 booking forecast due to underperformance in certain sports titles. In a statement, CEO Andrew Wilson cited below-par net bookings in the third quarter for Dragon Age and EA SPORTS FC 25.

As a result, EA now anticipates net bookings in the range of $7 billion to $7.15 billion for the year, a reduction from its previous estimate of $7.5 billion to $7.8 billion.

Upon the news, EA shares witnessed a decline of approximately 7% in extended trading.
