Duke Energy Q4 Earnings Top Estimates; Revenue Misses

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Duke Energy Corp. (DUK) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.21 billion, or $1.54 per share. Adjusted for non-recurring costs and discontinued operations, earnings were $1.66 per share, exceeding Wall Street expectations of $1.61 per share.

Revenue for the quarter was $7.36 billion, falling short of analyst estimates of $7.72 billion. For the full year, Duke Energy reported a profit of $4.52 billion, or $5.71 per share, on revenue of $30.36 billion.

The company projects full-year earnings in the range of $6.17 to $6.42 per share.
