Citi Appoints Ashu Khullar to Co-Head of Global Asset Managers
Citigroup has appointed Ashu Khullar to partner with Anthony Diamandakis as co-heads of global asset managers, as per an internal memo viewed by Reuters. Khullar, formerly India subcontinent sub-cluster and banking head, will be succeeded by K. Balasubramanian.
Khullar will relocate to London to lead Citi's efforts in expanding relationships with sponsors across EMEA and Asia, the memo stated. Balasubramanian's appointment is subject to regulatory approval from the Reserve Bank of India.
