Tariff Committee Announcement No. 1 of 2025

On February 1, 2025, the US government announced a 10% tariff on all Chinese goods exported to the US. This unilateral action violates World Trade Organization rules and undermines economic cooperation between the two countries.

With the approval of the State Council, China will impose additional tariffs on certain US-origin goods from February 10, 2025.

* Coal and liquefied natural gas (See Annex 1 for specific list)

* Agricultural machinery
* Large-displacement cars
* Pickup trucks (See Annex 2 for specific list)

Implementation

* Tariffs apply to current applicable tariff rates.
* Existing bonded and tax reduction policies remain unchanged.
