Cameco Reports Strong Q4 Earnings, Surpassing Wall Street Expectations

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan - Cameco Corp. (CCJ) announced fourth-quarter net income of $96.5 million, translating to earnings per share (EPS) of 22 cents. Adjusted for non-recurring expenses, EPS reached 26 cents, exceeding analysts' consensus estimate of 23 cents.

The company's revenue for the quarter stood at $845.5 million. For the full year, Cameco reported a profit of $125.5 million (28 cents per share) and revenue of $2.29 billion.

Cameco's shares have experienced a modest decline of 9% year-to-date but have gained 12% over the past year.
