Brookfield Asset Management Q4 Earnings Beat Estimates, Revenue Falls Short

Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. (BAM) reported fourth-quarter profit of $688 million, or 42 cents per share, exceeding analysts' expectations of 39 cents per share.

Adjusted earnings, excluding non-recurring gains, were 40 cents per share. Revenue reached $1.06 billion, while adjusted revenue came in at $1.24 billion, slightly below analysts' estimates of $1.25 billion.

For the full year, the company posted a profit of $2.17 billion, or $1.33 per share, on revenue of $4.71 billion.

Brookfield shares have gained nearly 3% year-to-date and 37% over the past 12 months.
