Bread Financial Reports Q4 Earnings Beat, Revenue Shortfall

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Bread Financial Holdings, Inc. (BFH) announced fourth-quarter earnings of $7 million, or 14 cents per diluted share. Adjusted for non-recurring costs and discontinued operations, earnings were 41 cents per share, surpassing analysts' estimates of 33 cents per share.

Revenue for the quarter totaled $1.16 billion, with adjusted revenue reaching $926 million. Although revenue surpassed the prior year, it fell short of analysts' forecasts of $957.9 million.

For the full year, Bread Financial reported a net income of $277 million, or $5.49 per share, on revenue of $3.84 billion.

Bread Financial shares have exhibited strong performance over the past year, gaining 4% since the start of 2023 and 76% over the past 12 months.
