Boise Cascade Reports Fourth-Quarter Earnings Miss
BOISE, Idaho – Boise Cascade L.L.C. (BCC) reported fourth-quarter net income of $68.9 million on Thursday, falling short of Wall Street expectations. Earnings per share came in at $1.78, below the average analyst estimate of $1.82.
Revenue for the quarter was $1.57 billion. For the full year, the company reported profit of $376.4 million, or $9.57 per share, on revenue of $6.72 billion.
Boise Cascade shares have declined 2% year-to-date. At the close of trading on Thursday, the stock price stood at $116.48, down 14% over the past year.
