Bankinter Reports 39% Surge in Q4 Net Profit, 13% Gain for 2024
Spanish bank Bankinter announced a 39% year-over-year increase in its fourth-quarter net profit, contributing to a 13% rise for the entire year of 2024.
The bank, the fifth largest in the country by market capitalization, reported a net profit of €222 million ($231 million) for the period from September to December, up from €160 million a year earlier. This figure exceeded analyst expectations of €220 million, according to a Reuters poll.
