Argentina Temporarily Cuts Export Taxes on Grains

January 23 (Reuters) - Argentina, a major global food exporter, announced Thursday it will temporarily lower taxes on grain shipments, citing the country's macroeconomic stability.

Economy Minister Luis Caputo told reporters at a press conference that export duties on soybeans and their derivatives, among other products, would be reduced starting Monday through June.

"This is a government that has come to lower taxes," Caputo said.
