ADM Reports Q4 Earnings Beat, Revenue Miss

Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) announced fourth-quarter earnings of $567 million on Tuesday, translating to $1.17 per share. Adjusted for non-recurring gains, earnings stood at $1.14 per share, surpassing Wall Street expectations of $1.07 per share.

Revenue for the period reached $21.5 billion, slightly below analysts' estimates of $21.93 billion.

For the full year, ADM reported a profit of $1.8 billion, or $3.65 per share, on revenue of $85.53 billion.

Looking ahead, ADM forecasts full-year earnings between $4 and $4.75 per share.

ADM stock has dipped 1% year-to-date, while the S&P 500 index has climbed 26%. Over the past 12 months, the stock has seen a decline of 12%.
